Get to Know Anthony Garcia, DDS ("Dr. G")
Dr. G was born in Denver, CO, but raised in El Paso. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he takes pride in creating a welcoming environment that makes you feel seen, heard, and valued at every visit. Blending his love for dentistry with his commitment to education and patient care, his goal is to not just give you a beautiful, healthy smile, but also an incredible experience.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
When he was a junior in high school, Dr. G knew he was getting close to graduating, which led to some serious soul searching. He had undergone many dental treatments growing up, which definitely left an impression, so he ultimately landed on dentistry. Throughout school and over the years, he would ask himself again and again to confirm whether it’s the right path for him, and the answer is always yes!
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. G earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry and attended University of Texas at El Paso for his undergraduate studies.
A Key Opinion Leader/Speaker for ClearCorrect, Dr. G has established himself as the go-to provider for clear aligner orthodontics in El Paso. He has completed Implant Dentistry Seminars with Dr. Arun K. Garg, enabling him to offer the latest in state-of-the-art tooth replacement. He enjoys learning deeply and is constantly refining his skills over time. Always happy to give back to the community, he currently serves as a Volunteer Dentist at the El Paso Baptist Clinic.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When he’s not making a difference in the lives of his patients, you can find Dr. G watching any movie genre – from The Matrix and Terminator 2 to Fast and Furious. He loves car meets, modifying cars, going to the gym, and finding inspiration from playing guitar and drawing. And while he tends to be very driven professionally, he also values quality time with family, meaningful conversations, and creating stability for the people who matter most to him.
