Children’s Dentistry El Paso

Serving Growing Smiles into Adulthood

Our team is excellent with patients of all ages, and we look forward to being able to give small children the tools they need to keep their smiles healthy far into adulthood. One great benefit of bringing even the youngest members of your family to see us is that they can continue coming to our practice well after they turn 18! This allows kids to maintain a positive relationship with not only their oral health, but also their dental team!

Dental Sealants

Dental sealants are clear coatings that we can apply over the surface of molars to keep food debris and bacteria from accumulating in their crevices. They can last for years, or until your child’s primary teeth fall out, and make brushing more effective by creating a smoother molar surface. Keep cavities away and prevent the need for fillings with this 100 percent pain-free preventive treatment!

Athletic Mouthguards/ Sportsguards

Does your child participate on their school’s sports team or in a local league? Consider investing in a customized mouthguard for them to help protect their teeth and jaw from injury. Our sportsguards are made to fit their unique smile, making them more comfortable and protective than the boil-and-bite alternatives you can get at sporting goods stores.

Lip & Tongue-Tie Laser Treatment

Typically, frenectomies, which are treatments for lip and tongue-ties, are conducted using surgical scissors. Dr. G utilizes an advanced Solea laser to precisely vaporize soft oral tissue, which allows the tongue and lips to move more freely. In addition to enhanced precision, laser frenectomies are much more comfortable and allow for faster recovery times.

Pulp Treatment

Is your child complaining of a persistent toothache? This can develop as a result of spreading decay that allows bacteria to enter the inner chamber of the tooth. The bacteria can affect the nerves within the tooth, leading to infection and compromising its health. Pulp treatment aims to remove the infected soft tissue within the tooth, filling it and topping it off with a crown afterwards to help preserve it until it falls out on its own.
